About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about developing young minds? We are currently looking for a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood to join our team.

This 6 month temporary full time position is based at the Kathleen Millikan Centre which provides high quality care for children from 8 weeks through to funded Kindergarten programs.

What you need to Succeed

• A genuine understanding of and a desire to work with children aged 0 through to kindergarten age.  
• A positive outlook and team approach.  
• Effective communication skills.  
• Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.  
• Current First Aid qualification HLTAID012.  
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and an understanding of how this this reflects on daily practice.  
• Demonstrated experience working with children and families.  
• Experience in assisting in the development and implementation of an educational program.  
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with all staff.  
• Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
