Fixed Plant Operator (Concrete Plant Batcher)

We now have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the Heidelberg Materials team as an enthusiastic and professional Concrete Batcher to support Concrete Operations across the Southern Perth Metro region, specifically in the Byford area. You will be someone who is passionate about safety, results focused, hold a strong work ethic and brings a flexible attitude to work. Effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential. Confidence with computers and previous batching experience will be highly regarded, however we are willing to train the right candidate. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role with overtime and Saturdays in accordance with business needs. Start and finish times will vary, so flexibility is a must.

What you will be doing in your new role: Manage batching and loading of Company fleet for delivery to our valued customers Make decisions that impact the overall performance of the business Quality control and plant maintenance Assume the responsibility of looking after the yard and ensuring housekeeping standards are maintained Total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm Ensuring stock levels are maintained and ordering of raw materials to meet daily production requirements About you: A current HR license and Front End Loader ticket is advantageous You are adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.

Some days we might ask you to drive a truck for us, but most days you will be performing batching duties Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Heidelberg Materials business Previous Concrete Batching experience will be highly regarded but not essential to be considered for this opportunity - Training will be provided About Heidelberg Materials With more than 4,000 employees across 300 sites, we have an extensive production and logistics network across Australia.
