Take the lead in ensuring that our city’s signs, roadsides and cycleways are safe and well maintained.

As the Team Leader Urban Maintenance (Urban Signs), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our city's infrastructure. You will be responsible for the maintenance of urban signs, guideposts, cycleways, safety barriers, drainage, and the roads network. Additionally, the role involves a small amount of vegetation management in areas around such infrastructure, with the aim of promoting safe access and adequate visibility.

About You

You are a committed and experienced professional with a strong background in urban maintenance. You have a keen eye for detail and are dedicated to ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and within prescribed timeframes. Skilled in operating excavators, backhoes, and other minor plant equipment, you also possess the ability to carry out minor maintenance on plant and equipment. As a strong communicator, you can interact with customers in a non-confrontational and friendly manner.

Your dedication to safety and your ability to follow guidelines and procedures make you an ideal candidate for this role. Your proactive approach to problem-solving and your ability to adapt to changing circumstances further highlight your suitability for this position. Additionally, your willingness to be on call and available for overtime when required is essential.
