About the Senior Planning Role - Salary starting from $98,688

Our Development and Growth Services team has a permanent opportunity for a Senior Planning Officer. You will be instrumental in developing and refining our strategic planning framework, ensuring it aligns with the City's overall objectives and the evolving needs of our community as well as project managing complex development applications.

The successful candidate will have completed a degree in Urban and Regional Planning or similar. You will possess excellent communication skills, as you will liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and present clear and concise reports to Council. A strong understanding of Western Australian planning legislation and best practices is required along with a team focus.


 

About the Junior Planning Role - Salary of $88,809

In this permanent role you will be a key member of the team, supporting senior staff in the formulation and implementation of the City’s strategic land use vision.

 

This role requires a proactive thinker with relevant qualifications, along with strong communication skills and an eye for detail. A positive attitude, ability to balance timely responses to simple development applications, and a willingness to learn and grow will be required to join our Development and Growth team.
