We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and hardworking Mower Operator to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As a Mower Operator, you will play a key role in maintaining our community’s parks, reserves, and other outdoor areas, helping us deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient services.
What We Are Looking For:
Current manual C, LR, MR, HR, or HC class driver’s licence as appropriate to the type of vehicle, to independently drive between business locations to meet operational needs.
Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
Construction Industry General Safety Induction Qualification (White Card).
Working in Proximity to Traffic – Awareness Part 1 & Part 2.
ACDC chemical applicators license.
Demonstrated ability to perform a range of maintenance labouring tasks related to Parks and Open Spaces (eg. brush cutting, litter pick up, herbicide spraying etc).
Demonstrated ability to perform daily routine servicing and safety checks of mower with prompt notification to plant inspectors/workshop of any defects.
Demonstrated experience operating ride-on mowers, including on or near roadways and in high-traffic areas.
Demonstrated ability to successfully work in a high-profile public environment with an emphasis on communication and providing quality customer service.
