Salary
$104,611.34 to $116,755.93 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation, and a 9 day fortnight.
Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About the role
In this role, you will oversee the operation and maintenance of 23 Community Centres, ensuring they are vibrant, welcoming, and well-utilised spaces. The Team Leader will be responsible for technical administration, budgetary processes, project development and delivery associated with Council’s Community and Cultural Facilities.
Management of the Venue Management Team ensuring processes are adhered to and applying strategic direction for the Community Centres is a key focus for successful delivery of the Community Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff, resource and budgetary management
Customer service
Coordination of asset management and operations
System and process management Activation of Community Facilities
The development and implementation of management models for Community Facilities
Projects and booking coordination throughout the Community Facilities Team
Key Selection Criteria:
A minimum of three years relevant experience in the operation of complex, multi-faceted facilities
Demonstrated capacity to engage with and implement reservation management systems
Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and complete project documentation through to delivery
Demonstrated policy and procedure development, implementation and review skills
Strong team management skills
Sound judgement and negotiating skills together with proven customer relations skills and relationship development
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Demonstrated skills in financial management
Relevant degree level education and/or extensive experience in the operation of community facilities
About you
The Community Facilities Team Leader position requires a person who has a proven community focus, interpersonal and technical skills, leadership, stakeholder communication skills in order to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines. High level problem solving and analytical skills, with a high standard of customer service, project administrative experience and financial management skills.
The position provides for a varied skill set crossing a range of professional competencies including staff management, facilities and asset & Project Management, ICT competencies and procedures and process development. A high level of written and oral communication is required, as is attention to detail.
The person is expected to work in a business office environment with some work at Council’s community and cultural facilities across the Shire.
