In many First Nations communities, dogs play a key part in family life, serving as companions, guardians and working animals.
Cook Shire Council is seeking to appoint a community First Nations Animal Health Assistant to support the delivery of the Healthy Dogs Healthy Communities Program.
You don’t need fancy qualifications – just a good attitude and willingness to learn.
This is a great stepping stone into future work with Council or in community services.
