About the Role

We’re currently seeking an experienced Child Care Assistant to join our Children’s Services team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll support the team in the delivery of high-quality child care in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation.

The successful applicant will need to be flexible and available during the following Hours:

  • NSW School Terms: 6:30am–9:00am & 3:00pm–7:00pm
  • NSW School Holidays: Between 7:00am–7:00pm (with the opportunity to work up to 38 hours per week during school holidays)

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check and Police Check
  • Available to work shifts between 6.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 7.00pm during NSW Public School Terms; and shift between 7.00am – 7.00pm during NSW School Holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a professional team
