System Project Accountant

5 Year Fixed-Term - Working remotely may be considered

Salary Package: $152,235 per annum plus super - Housing Negotiable

The City of Karratha is offering an opportunity for a suitably experienced individual to join our Financial Services Team as a Systems Project Accountant. This position may be remote or based in Karratha. It offers an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, Allowances**, Six weeks annual leave and 13% Superannuation (Please refer to accompanying Conditions of Employment).

The Systems Project Accountant is responsible for supporting the City’s financial management through system development and process optimisation. You will work closely with our leadership team and collaborate with cross- functional departments to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to strategic decision- making.

This role ensures integrity of the City’s financial information and remedy of system issues as well as creating custom financial reports and development of dashboards. It is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a great team and contributing to the continuous improvement of systems implementation.

Requirements:

• Completion of a relevant tertiary

qualification in accounting and

demonstrated experience in a similar role

• CPA or Chartered Accountant status

• Current C Class driver’s license and National (or Federal) Police Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
