Your Role at Nextt
  
We currently have multiple Casual opportunities for disability support workers in the Newcastle, Central Coast and Maitland areas.
  
You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring to follow and prioritize their daily routine, and working collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure our client receives the highest level of care. Your goal will be to always assist our clients in accomplishing their daily objectives while staying true to our values and upholding quality person-centered care.  
   
Your Skills and Experience 
  • Ability to work with behaviours of concern
  • Ability to work in a robust dynamic team
  • Ability to provide person-centered care, maintaining an outstanding level of dignity, respect, and compassion
  • Provide a high level of complex coordinated care and support
  • Previous experience with spinal cord injury clients preferred 
  • Bowel care experience preferred 
  
Pay Rates
  
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):  
  • Base hourly rate: $33.96
  • Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $37.36
  • Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday)  $38.04
  • Saturday: $47.55
  • Sunday: $61.13
  • Public holiday: $74.72
