of the Pilbara’s key transport hubs?

The City of Karratha is seeking an
enthusiastic and dedicated Airport
Reporting Officer to join our Airport
Operations team.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible
for ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation
Safety Regulations (CASR) Part 139, while
helping to maintain the airport’s safety and
infrastructure standards.
You'll work closely with the Airport
Operations Team Leader and a range of
stakeholders, ensuring our airport runs like
clockwork.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting serviceability inspections and
security patrols.
• Enforcing airside safety and access
regulations.
• Maintaining airfield infrastructure and critical
systems.
• Managing wildlife hazards with specialist
equipment.
• Supporting emergency response efforts and
participating in emergency drills.

Key Requirements

• Relevant experience or qualifications in
airport operations.
• Ability to obtain an Aircraft Radiotelephone
Operator Certificate.
• Current manual C Class Driver’s Licence.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identity
Card (ASIC).
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
one.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
under aviation security laws.
