Victoria Daly Regional Council is looking for a full-time Roads, Infrastructure & Assets Coordinator based in Katherine, NT.
In this key operational role, you will report directly to the Director of Council Operations and be responsible for overseeing road construction and infrastructure management across the region.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will be directly involved in the delivery of a wide range of critical grant-based and state-funded Council projects. Your work will touch on various areas such as infrastructure upgrades, staff housing community facilities, environmental sustainability, and disaster recovery initiatives.
As the Victoria Daly region has a large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population, you will need to ensure cultural sensitivity and awareness across all activities.
To qualify, you will need extensive experience in infrastructure and asset management, with demonstrated skills in overseeing contractors and road construction projects. A Certificate IV in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable.
