Roads Coordinator

Council is currently seeking a dedicated Roads Coordinator to join our Assets and Infrastructure Services team.  In this critical role, you will work closely with the Manager Infrastructure Services to plan, manage, and deliver road maintenance, capital renewals projects, and strategic road network planning. Your contributions will ensure that Kyogle’s road systems remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained, benefiting our entire community.

Council is looking for someone with:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in road infrastructure management, including the planning and coordination of maintenance, renewals and capital works projects.
• Strong project management and contract management experience.
• A solid understanding of NSW local government legislation relevant to road management, road safety, and asset management.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors, work with internal teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in preparing technical reports, contract documentation, and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders, contractors, and the community.
• A current Class C driver’s licence.
• Experience in leading a small team will be highly regarded for Grade 9 roles.
