Grader Operator (Fixed Term)

About the role

This position is a fixed term, full time role and based at the Moruya Depot. The Grader Operator/Labourer will play an essential role within our Works team to competently operate mobile plant items and assist supervisors in creating safe and well organised projects.

The starting salary for this position is $2,409.11 per fortnight plus 11.5% superannuation.

About you

Do you have experience in a construction environment, operating a grader and other plant machinery? Our Works team needs a hard-working, competent, team-player who has on-the-ground experience and good communication skills. If this all sounds like you, please apply now! To be successful, your application should further demonstrate the following:

• Experience in operating graders, trucks and a wide variety of plant used in road construction, quarrying and maintenance environment, or other equivalent skills and experience.
• Willingness and ability to successfully undertake physical labouring tasks associated with Council’s maintenance and construction activities
• Willingness to successfully complete recognised training opportunities.
• Sound oral and written communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
