Join Our Team at Nextt – Disability Support Worker (Female, 2:1 Care) Location: Wellington Point | Casual Role | 40 hrs/fortnight

Nextt is seeking a dedicated female Disability Support Worker to join our team, providing 2:1 personalised care for a lovely client with epileptic encephalopathy and profound intellectual disability. About the Client: Our client is a non-verbal woman who lives with complex needs including frequent tonic-clonic seizures and significant language impairments. She thrives with support workers who are gentle, patient, and committed to making her day engaging and enjoyable. You’ll support her in:
Daily living tasks: personal care, showering, continence care, and transfers
Meal preparation
Engaging in meaningful activities that bring joy and connection
Available Shifts (40 hours/fortnight):
Week 1
Tuesday: 6:00am – 9:30am
Wednesday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 6:00am – 9:00am
Week 2
Monday: 6:00am – 9:00am
Tuesday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Saturday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Sunday: 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Pay Rates
SCHADS Award Level E3.1 (Casual Rates):
Base hourly rate: $33.96
Afternoon: $37.36
Early morning/night: $38.04
Saturday: $47.55
Sunday: $61.13
Public Holidays: $74.72
What You’ll Need:
NDIS Worker Screening Check (current)
Working with Children Check (current)
Australian Driver’s License & Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
Completion of NDIS Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You
First Aid & CPR (current)
