We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to assist a friendly, active male client with community access and daily living activities in Whittington.
Available Shifts: Monday to Sunday - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Tagalog-speaking - preferred
Provide support in daily living activities and community participation
Assist with medication management
Offer behavioural support and care for individuals with mental health needs or ABI (Acquired Brain Injury)
Experience working with individuals affected by AOD (Alcohol & Other Drugs) - preferred
Required Credentials
Current First Aid and CPR certification or a booking confirmation to complete
Valid driver’s licence and vehicle with comprehensive insurance
VIC Working With Children - Employee
NDIS Worker Screening Check - Employee
Completion of NDIS Quality, Safety, and You module
Rates Pay Rates -2.1 Community Employee SCHADS awards
Base hourly rate: $41.76
Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $45.94
Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $46.77
Saturday: $58.47
Sunday: $75.17
Public holiday: $91.88
