Female Disability Support Worker Wanted – Blacktown NSW

Ongoing Casual Role – Make a Meaningful Impact

Are you a compassionate and capable female support worker looking for consistent hours and a rewarding role in Blacktown? We're seeking the right person to assist a respectful, independent male client with a spinal cord injury, who uses a wheelchair and requires experienced personal care.

Shift Times (Ongoing Weekly):

Mondays & Tuesdays: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM & 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Fridays: 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Peristeen bowel care (training provided by client’s RN)
Catheter care and personal care – including showering, grooming, drying, dressing
Domestic tasks – light housekeeping and meal preparation
Community access – including grocery shopping

What We’re Looking For:

Must have experience with bowel care
Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Reliable, respectful, and caring approach to support work
Must be comfortable with personal and intimate care tasks

Pay Rates (SCHADS Award - Home Care Employee):
Casual (includes 25% loading):

Base Day Rate: $33.96/hour
Afternoon: $37.36/hour
Active Night: $38.04/hour
Saturday: $47.55/hour
Sunday: $61.13/hour
Public Holiday: $74.72/hour
