About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in coordinating and delivering in-house civil works across road maintenance, road construction, and urban infrastructure programs. It involves collaborating with multiple areas of Council, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, and identifying process improvements and efficiencies within the organisation, all while ensuring compliance with Council commitments.

The Civil works team consist of 40+ staff across 3 teams:

  • Urban Infrastructure
  • Road Maintenance
  • Road Program/Construction

This position reports to the Manager Roads and Facilities and works closely with the Team Leaders to manage the delivery of the capital works programs, and ongoing maintenance.

About You

The successful applicant may have relevant qualification and/or significant relevant experience in coordinating and leading a team of staff in municipal works or related civil maintenance or construction activities.
